The Hudson Navigator is nestled in the heart of Hudson's historic district and offers quiet and luxurious lodging for the discerning traveller.  This stately residence has been meticulously restored to its former glory in the spring of 2024, showcasing both its period-specific architecture and maritime heritage highlighted by original stained glass windows, custom renovated bathrooms and soothing fireplaces amongst its many amenities.

When the building was originally built it was utilized as the convent for the Sisters of St. Mary's Academy before evolving into various forms of community housing. In the late 1900s, it underwent a significant renovation, emerging as The Country Squire Bed & Breakfast. Later, it transformed into the esteemed Batterby House. 

The Hudson Navigator is a quiet, clean, modern retreat.  Each guest room has its own unique charm and modern amenities that may include electric fireplaces, glass showers, and heated tile floors amongst its many details.  All guests may enjoy the sun drenched lobby/library and the tranquil outdoor garden that is the perfect respite after enjoying a day in historic Hudson.

In the spring of 2024, the property was fully renovated and reborn as The Hudson Navigator, meticulously preserving its rich architectural legacy while infusing fresh nautical-inspired design elements honoring the architect's original vision, as well as the nautical heritage of the City of Hudson.

The Hudson Navigator is a sister property to both The Hudson Mariner and The Hudson Whaler Hotel (recently awarded The 2024 Best Boutique Hotel In The Hudson Valley by Hudson Valley Magazine). Guests of The Navigator and The Mariner have complimentary access to the gym, bathrooms, and lavish lobby at The Whaler throughout their stay.  Please stop by the Whaler and enjoy these amenities!
